JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Report directly to Managing Partner of the Company
  • Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on an existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
  • Service existing accounts by maintaining positive business and customer relationships
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports weekly
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products and merchandising techniques
  • Conduct Wine and Spirits tastings for clients while providing education on wine varietals, production and characteristics
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:
  • Must have 3-5 years On Trade alcohol beverage experience
  • Product knowledge with high level of industry knowledge
  • Goal Oriented, focused and an assertive individual who needs little direction or supervision and can work independently
  • Highly motivated personality and target driven with a proven sales track record to meet sales goals
  • Excellent presenting, selling, negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to adapt and can assist a variety of internal customer groups and varying personality types
  • Stay apprised of federal, state and local laws affecting the beverage/alcohol industry within account responsibility
Compensation:
  • Annual base salary plus commission
  • Gas card provided
  • 2 week paid vacation and holidays
Requirements:
  • Valid Class C drivers license with reliable transportation and good driving record
  • Valid work authorization
  • Bilingual is a plus
